Special Report: ICTF Inter-Continental TKD & Martial Arts Championships By: Mr. Andres Muniz Vega, ICTF Puerto Rico From June 25th to the 28th 2009 Puerto Rico hosted the ICTF Open Inter-Continental TaeKwon-Do & Martial Arts Festival, international festival that comprise of seminars and international championship. This international festival was mark by the friendship and cooperation from the international guests represented by Daniel Lammin on behave of PUMA TaeKwon-Do of England, Canada East represented by Master Joe Cariati & Master Dan Simard and Canada West represented by Master Craig Stanley and the host country, Puerto Rico represented by Mr. Andres Muniz Vega and invited guests. The festival consists of the following:
ICTF Technical & Sparring Seminar: This seminar was given on Thursday 25th of June in the Parador Vista Mar Ball Room. The first part was given by Master Joe Cariati, 8th Dan and President of the International Chang Hon TaeKwon-Do Federation (ICTF) in which was explain with details the movements of patterns of Traditional TaeKwon-Do as establish by General Choi Hong Hi, Founder of TaeKwon-Do and in the afternoon the second part was given by Master Dan Simard, 8th Dan, ICTF Chairman Sparring Committee on the Guajataca Beach 5 minute walk near the Parador Vista Mar in the City of Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. While the Sparring Seminar was given, Mr. Andres Muniz Vega took a special training that lasted over 3 hours with ICTF President, Master Joe Cariati in the Parador Ball Room. 
International Delegations visit the City of Lares and meet its Mayor:
The next day, Friday, 26th of June, the international delegations from England and Canada visited the City of Lares, Puerto Rico to see the city attraction including the visit to City Hall and Public Plaza including the famous Lares Ice Parlor in with all love it diverse tastes especially the rum favor ones. In the visit of the City Hall the Mayor of Lares, gave a welcome speech to all and the Lares Flag Pin to everyone.
Special Practice with Master Joe Cariati, President of ICTF
Saturday, 27th of June mark a special moment for all ICTF Puerto Rico members as Master Cariati gave special classes to all that arrived to the host hotel invited by Mr. Andres Muniz Vega, this included ICTF Puerto Rico and Unified ITF Puerto Rico members. He stated from 9 AM to 5:30 PM non-stop dedicating over 30-40 minutes to each of them, approving rank promotions to Mr. Carlos A. Cajigas to Red Stripe, Mr. Axel Cajigas to Blue Stripe and Mr. Reynaldo A. Cajigas to Red Stripe, all from ICTF Puerto Rico.
ICTF Open Inter-Continental TaeKwon-Do & Martial Arts Championships
With competitors of all over the Island of Puerto Rico from diverse styles such as Chang Hon TaeKwon-Do, Kung-Fu and Karate and international delegations from Canada, England, Costa Rica en others the Inter-Continental Championship stated at 10:30 AM. This event was mark the friendship and cooperation between all martial arts no matter affiliation. The event stated with the official ICTF Protocol in which Master Cariati, Master Stanley, Master Simard from Canada and Master John Black, Master Mark Ogborne and Raymond Gayle, represented by Mr. Dan Lammin and Mr. David Pixton received from the Mayor of Lares, Honorable Roberto Pagan Centeno the Official City Proclamation, in addition to receiving a special plaque recognition by ICTF Puerto Rico. 
 
The results of the International TaeKwon-Do Team Challenge: 1st Place: PUMA TaeKwon-Do Team Blue (England), 2nd Place: PUMA TaeKwon-Do Team Red (England) & 3rd Place: Canada West & Puerto Rico National Team (ITF-V).   
Inter-Continental Open TaeKwon-Do & Martial Arts Championships are: International Over All Champion: PUMA TaeKwon-Do England, National Over All Champion: ICTF TaeKwon-Do Puerto Rico & Individual National School Champion: Bai Lung Chuan Fa Kung Fu (City of Aguada & Las Marias, Puerto Rico).
PUMA England Sparring & Technical Clinic:
On the 1st of June the ICTF Puerto Rico had the honor of having Mr. Daniel Lammin, 4th Dan and Coach PUMA England Team Mr. David Pixton, 4th Dan and Captain PUMA England Team as special instructors. The instructed our class in Sparring & Pattern performance Techniques emphasizing in Blocking Defense and Sine wave movement.
